This award belongs first and foremost to our team. Every service, every dish, every detail is the result of the dedication, talent, and hard work of the people who bring this restaurant to life each day. We are also deeply grateful to our guests. To everyone who has dined with us, supported us, recommended us to friends and family, and returned again and again — thank you!

"I want to congratulate the MICHELIN Guide. MICHELIN has been the most powerful and influential platform in international culinary history, and with that comes a real responsibility: most fine dining restaurants are still, to this day, built on that historic template, multi-course menus and service-heavy experiences that have a tendency to drive up the price tag.

Angelenos naturally gravitate toward a more casual, social, and high-energy way of eating. Lielle opened with the commitment to honor these values; we have French hip-hop blasting, elbows on the tables, and a short, concise, frequently changing menu - just an honest environment with warm food on plates.

For MICHELIN to recognize the work of this team shows they understand how LA loves to dine, meeting our city's culture right where it is. If MICHELIN and Angelenos can align on how we see our dining landscape, Los Angeles will firmly take its place on the map as a global culinary metropolis, an absolutely deserved place to be for LA. As a chef, that's incredibly exciting, and it highlights California as a world-stage destination where relaxed hospitality and exceptional gastronomy coexist."
